Saeedeh Kabiri

Saeedeh Kabiri is a physicist with a strong academic foundation from Sharif University of Technology (Tehran, Iran), where she earned both her BSc and MSc degrees in Physics. Her specialization lies in acoustics and ultrasonics, with additional interests in optics, acousto-optics, acoustofluidics, and medical physics.
She has contributed to interdisciplinary research projects including acoustic tweezers, nanoparticle-mediated cancer therapy, ultrasonic spray nozzle design and simulation, and the study of optical effects of focused ultrasound on laser beams. Her work has resulted in multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and collaborations with international research teams.
She is currently with the University of Leeds, UK, focusing on developing novel phononic crystals for improved harmonic imaging in biomedical ultrasounds.
