MetacMed Kick-Off Meeting at Empa in Dübendorf, Switzerland
On March 11th and 12th, Empa had the pleasure of hosting both in-person and virtual attendees for the inaugural Kick-Off meeting of the MetacMed project.
We have established the groundwork for our collaborative efforts for the next four years, paving the way for the 12 Doctoral Candidates who will join us. These talented individuals will contribute to an innovative project focused on acoustic and mechanical metamaterials with applications in biomedical engineering and energy harvesting. This significant endeavor is financed by the European Union through the MSCA – Doctoral Network scheme and is conducted in partnership with UKRI and SERI.
